The Bible is filled with stories of people who lived their lives under the influence of God from Old testament to New testament… Through deep faith and a willingness to serve, God used them to fulfill His purposes..
“THE VOICE OF GOD”
“God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding”. ( Job 37:5)
The Voice of God is the most powerful force in nature, all energy is here only because the power-filled Word is being spoken. The word of God is the breath of God filling the world with living potentiality. God is speaking. Not God spoke, but God is speaking ”
The Voice of God is quick and powerful. In the beginning He spoke to nothing, and it became something.
The Silence Voice of Creation
We can read from Genesis 1-31 – God Speak about the creation.
When God created the heavens and earth, day and night, separating water and land, God create living creatures from air, water and land.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
“And God said — and it was so.”
These phrases, as cause and effect, occur throughout the Genesis story of the creation. SO is the said put into the continuous present.
The Voice of thunder
God has many ways of speaking, there is power when he speaks, see in (Jeremiah 10.13)
“When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses”.
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of lightning. Psalm 29: 4 & 7
Remember Moses when he went to mount Sinai, God speak to him, in Exodus 19:9. The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.
in reading Exodus 19: 16-19. On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently. As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.
The scriptures show the strength word of god, the word he speaks is commandment and need to be follow.
That voice is just as powerful as when He thunders. It is in this tone that He most commonly speaks to men, because our ears could not endure constant thunder; and it is necessary that we keep silent before Him, in order that we may hear.
