“Restoring Broken Relationship”

Every person is suffering from broken relationship from our family, friend’s, God and others. Relationships are always worth restoring. Because life is all about learning how to love. God wants us to heal and  value our relationship. God encourage us to seek forgiveness and forgive one another. Bible says in Philippians 2:1-2

“Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind..”

God has done all this. He has restored our relationship with him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships. – 2 Corinthians 5:18

If you want God’s blessing in your life you must learn to forgive. You are only hurting yourself with your anger. — Job 18:4 (TEV)

We must Forgive !

1. Pray for God to change and heal your heart. This is a process and eventually the feelings will come. But in the meantime, we must continue to pray (sometimes multiple times a day!) that God will work in our hearts to change them and to heal them.

2. Give your anger to God. Justice is up to God. The ones who have hurt you will face the judgement of God. It is only up to us to hold to God’s promise that He is good no matter what and to commit to loving others at all times.

3. Just do it. Tell God that you forgive the one that hurt you. Tell Him every day. We must commit to an attitude of forgiveness and in time it will feel more natural.

When you forgive, you in no way change the past–but you sure do change the future. – Bernard Meltzer

We must Change !

God sent his son, Jesus Christ, because we have no power to change ourselves. Salvation is an incredible gift, but the transformation of your life does not stop. The Lord will continuously mold you and change you — if you let him. People can change. Never give up on them. And so can you. Never give up on yourself. The Lord doesn’t. Do you think you are already as good as you are going to get? The Lord hasn’t given up on you, so don’t be so foolish as to give up on yourself. The Lord will continuously change you. Your age makes no difference. Your background does not matter. Your past is of no consequence. You can not be so bad that there is no hope. With the Lord there is always hope. You can become that trophy of grace, a model of what the Lord can do to change a person.

When God changes people, and relationships are healed, he never says, “as good as new.” God’s motto: “Better than ever.” If you are going to go through all the heartache of fighting with somebody, the reward when you come out the other side is depth. Somehow God will give you a strength, a hope, a faith.

Never give up, because people can change. The transformation is a gift from the Lord. The Lord will use you to reflect his glory. Never give up on others, and never give up on yourself, because you can change too, becoming a trophy of grace. And the most amazing things happen when God changes people, the transformation is from bondage to freedom. And freedom is a gift from God, freedom to be different, freedom to choose right, freedom to live. When the Lord gives you his spirit, the Lord will pronounce, “Better than ever.” Broken relationships can be healed because God, through his spirit, has the power to change people. Even me. Even you.
