“Giants in Front of Us”

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person  will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him”.  James 1:12 NIV

Life is full of obstacle and challenge that comes in many way and size. This is the Giants in our life or big wall that blocks our success in life . This “Giants” cause major difficulties in our life and bring hardship with the possibility of life threatening situations.  When times are hard we must stand and take control.

Bible says 1 Peter 5:8-9 “Control yourselves and be careful! The devil is your enemy. And he goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to the devil. Stand strong in your faith. You know that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are having the same sufferings you have.”

We will face this Giants one or another in our lives. Giants are problems and issues we are trying to face and control . But often they seem grow stronger with the passing of time. Remember God is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient. Let focus on God’s power rather than the size of our problem. No matter how big the “Wall” in front of you, be assured that you can reduce it down and break it completely when you trust God’s and ask for help to overcome it. God is much larger than any obstacle and challenge you’ll ever face.  Rather to look at the wall standing in front of you, look at God, who stands ready to help you to overcome that obstacle and challenge in front of you. Let’s hear the story of David and Goliath.

The Story of David is the reflection of what we are facing now. Choose to see your obstacle as an opportunity to grow and develop your character, to increase your faith in God while you trust him to lead you through the process of overcoming it.

There many Giants around us Temptation, Worries, Discouragement, Loneliness, Pride, Jealousy and More. But the biggest is FEAR. Cause “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”

Bibles says 1 Corinthians 10:13, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure” (nlt).

David represent you and Goliath represent the “Giant” & “Wall” that stop you to move forward. The Armor of Goliath are the obstacles in front of you tools to stop you and to give you fear, the pouch with smooth stones represent the truth word of God to help you to overcome your “Giants”. When we apply the word of God in our daily lives we will defeat the “Giants” in front of us.

How to Overcome the Giants?

Accept that we all have “Giants”. That we have Obstacle in our life to face it . We have Problem, Temptation and Fear. Always remember this is the Lord’s battle in (1 Samuel 17:47) says “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” the giants always defeat us because we put this in our own hands. Do remember there is God who always help us. Don’t be afraid and face your fear, call on God and pray for His power. Always trust God. And don’t let your “Giant”to back in your life again.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8–9
